Red Carnations
Two well dressed gentlemen happen upon the same park bench. Each is wearing a red carnation in his lapel. And each is expecting the arrival of the delightful woman he met at a Masked Ball. Since they did not see each others' faces at the Ball, she will know him by the red carnation. Now they must solve the puzzle of which man is the Right Man for her. And like most puzzles, this one has an unexpected twist.
Two Wives & a Dead Guy
The late Mr. Donald Howard Becton III, a globe trotting businessman and millionaire, is on display at the Hines Funeral Home. His wife, the educated and well-pedigreed Eileen, is searching for clues, even on the corpse, to the location of her husband's will. Before a proper search can be completed, Veronica shows up, a gaudily painted "lady" who also claims to be Donald's wife. The two women go at each other so fiercely that they leave a perplexed Mr. Hines and a battered corpse at play's end.

Theatre Wests six member Production Recommendation committee are accepting club members recommendations for plays and soliciting for directors through February 1st. Beginning in February 2025 a review process for selection occurs including director appointments. More details on selected performances coming in the spring!

Theatre West offers full-length plays and musicals from fall through spring at the Stardust Theatre in Sun City West.
Short productions are also offered after regular club meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. Sun City West residents who are interested in any or all phases of theatre, including participation in plays or musical productions, are welcome to join. Members aspiring to act on stage can learn technique and gain experience through various other activities.

Theatre West became a chartered club in 1980 and has hundreds of members. With the completion of the Stardust Theatre in 1989, Theatre West became a viable performing art club. Its success has attracted sell-out audiences for every production.

The club also added a fully equipped scenery shop and a storage building to Recreation Center property using funds accumulated from performance proceeds. In 2023-2024 Stardust Theatre was refitted with state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment. Income from ticket sales (after expenses) is used to continually improve the theatre and audience experience.

Performances are open to the general public.
